Philippine Navy Night Fighting Weapon
The Philippine Navy has taken delivery of the first 10 units of the Philippine designed and manufactured Night Fighting Weapon. Its a sign of the increasing sophistication of Philippine Marine armorers. The weapon is basically a modified Elisco Tool M-16A1 fitted with a rail mount and a new floating barrel with an integrated sound suppressor. The barrel itself is a bull barrel (1 inch in diameter) with a 1-9" twist. The current delivery will be split between the marines and the SWAG.
The scope is a US built Generation 3 D740 scope. It also comes with a daylight filter and is powered by two AA batteries.
The pictures below show the weapons being zeroed prior to delivery.
